After reading and rereading the news release, I have to say I am disappointed. This release was "spun" to provide the minimum amount of adherence to OSC and SEC regulations regarding reporting on material changes in the company. This is obviously to protect the share price. Now that is not a bad thing for shareholders in the short term. But it is very troubling to me that they provided no reasons for the 6 month delay, and in my opinion sought in fact to "obscure" the fact that there even was a delay. Is this really serving the shareholders in the long term? What new problems have been encountered in the development of the HeartSaver? Are they serious? What assurance do we have that there will not be another delay announcement in another 4 months? I still believe in the long term, but this news has done nothing to help reinforce that confidence.
