Wednesday February 9, 8:37 pm Eastern Time M-Wave sees further growth in 2000 CHICAGO, Feb 9 (Reuters) - M-Wave Inc., maker of microwave printed circuit boards used in wireless communications, said Wednesday it expects earnings growth to continue through 2000.
''We expect to exceed 1999 revenues by up to 100 percent with sales ranging from $15 million to $25 million,'' M-Wave chief executive Joseph Turek said in a news release.
Turek said the company added a second shift at its Bensenville, Illinois, to increase manufacturing capabilities to keep up with increased sales estimates from larger customers.
Also Wednesday, the company reported a fourth-quarter profit of $22,000 or 1 cent per share, down from income of $86,00 or 3 cents a share a year ago, on sales of $3.56 million.
M-Wave stock closed up 2-7/16 to 8-3/16 on a day when the overall Nasdaq composite index finished lower.
