Tony, Re : Do you think the PC OEMs can come back to life? HP sure has. I don't know about Dell.

My thinking is that server/high-end market may do very well (Xeons, Itanium, 800MHz+ coppermine, and overall demand) next few quarters. Intel will need CPQ and Dell to get into the high-end market to compete with Sun. HP, like you mentioned, has come to life. Dell is perhaps low right now, partly due to CuMine supply problem. I wouldn't be surprised to see Dell up to $45 after the bad news (their earnings this thursday) is out. Dell will make their usual bullish forecast! My thinking is relatively short-term here.

But then I haven't done well with Dell, so what do I know! Missed out all of Dells run and when I did get it early last year, Dells stock hit a wall. CPQ, OTOH may benefit most from Intel based server sales, but they may carry other baggage.

What are your thoughts ?

-Amit.
