Thank you for your kind words. I've never seen a merger voted down. So, I don't hold out much hope for that scenario. And, if a new bidder should show-up, I imagine that the lawyers have probably established certain lock-up provisions that would force INPR to give up "some considerable" portion of its cash. So, maybe, but doubtful. What I suspect, especially given the "Globe article" (a post or two ago) is that "other" interested parties will call Corel/Inprise/Borland to buy non-Linux portions of the company (i.e., Java-related) in order to allow Cowpland the opportunity to build-up "his" war-chest.
