Seriously upping the ante from a previously made (temporary) trading move, rolling up the strikes and keeping expiration as far out as possible. Will close out on another 33% of RTRSY position and stand ready for any pull back. Super bullish as we close in on Y150k. Need the extra gains to actually realize to support wife's fund closing. Decided to put money also into second i.com and e.net private equity co-investment situation along side Pacific Century Cyberworks and some telecos. Wife's fund not ready but the deals she was looking at are closing anyway. Alan will have to do better than 1% in 2000, else the bubble is in taflon good condition and no measly 0.25% will make a streamer out of it. Believe market leadership will continue to narrow or stay narrow, but 9984 will be the very last one to fall apart. Son's steady hand on his 40% means everything to us all. Our pension manager definitely has a good shot at becoming the richest man in history at the fastest speed from the humblest of beginnings.

I read that Cisco did well in the US, and I am comforted to know we have indirect stake in Cisco Japan. Tell me, what happens when Cisco Japan starts making acquisitions (say optics) of its own independent of the US partner? Deal heat, vaporizing all non-believers.

After selling down RTR in a few minutes, the portfolio will only have serious stakes in 9984, Sony, China Telecom and AOL/TWX.
Continuing to sell massive puts on Newmont Mining. Willing to take mega delivery of NEM at $20.

The "stay in newest i.net and oldest gold asset" and "watch my basket carefully" strategy.
