Hi Tenchusatsu, RE: "You know, one of the themes of IA-64 is "Get Sun.""

...as a customer.

There's a difference between 'getting Sun' and 'getting Sun as a customer', i.e. getting Sun's market (with Sun). It is probably in Intel's best interest to get Sun as a customer (and, it is in Sun's best interest to work with Intel so Sun saves RND expenses). No sense in having two giants bashing it out, when there's probably a better route for both companies' stocks.

Certainly, if Sun doesn't want to work together, the writing is on the wall. However, I imagine Sun and Intel would like to work this out, so it probably doesn't pay to start rumors to the contrary IMHO.

Regards,
Amy J PS I picked up a few leaps on cpq & dell (not an investment I'm keen on, box makers no IP, but if Sun doesn't use Intel chips until McKinley (as someone on SI suggested in a post), maybe there's a server play for cpq & dell. And, if Sun doesn't use Intel's chip, my bet is on Intel)
