I know that DeVenzio came to play for Vic Bubas, but when Bucky Walters succeeded Bubas, I'm guessing after DeVenzio's freshman year (I think freshmen inelegibility existed back then), he must have been miserable, as was the whole program. After college instead of waiting to go through the NBA draft, DeVenzio went to play ball in Europe after NBA teams appeared non-commital toward him during the pre-draft scouting process. You must have a long, deep memory of ACC basketball to be knowledgable of DeVenzio and that era of ACC basketball.
