It might be better to study the possible transmutation
of nickel into PGMs like platinum and palladium, rather
than IKAR's tungsten into gold. That comes from trying
to duplicate ancient nuclear processes that originally
formed all those metals, with things like implosion,
fusion, particle accelerators, etc.
