zeren, I just meant that any option based strategy to hedge your bets (for someone currently long) would probably require LEAPs since the PALM spin won't be for 6 months after the IPO. Normal options expire in less than 6 months, but you can get LEAPs for next January (I believe... I've never used LEAPs and havent' considered using them as a strategy. Actually since any existing LEAPs include PALM already [as the status quo] I'm not sure if its even possible.)
