Concurrent Computer Corporation to Offer System Solutions Based on the
Linux Operating System

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 2000--Concurrent Computer Corporation (Nasdaq:CCUR - news) announced today, at its worldwide Real-Time
User Meeting in Fort Lauderdale, FL, that it will offer a suite of system solutions and software development tools based on the Linux operating system.

Concurrent will offer a Linux version of its highly acclaimed NightStar(TM) Development Tools and its high-performance C/C++, FORTRAN, and Ada compilers.

This offering will provide Concurrent's customers the opportunity to develop and debug complex multiprocessing applications in Concurrent's integrated software
development environment while taking advantage of the Linux operating system and the inherent advantages that this open system environment offers. Developers
will now have the option to run their real-time multiprocessing applications using Concurrent's real-time operating system, PowerMAX OS(TM), or run their open
systems real-time applications using the Linux operating system -- all developed, designed, and tested using the same comprehensive suite of NightStar Development
Tools.

In addition, Concurrent's next generation Power Hawk(TM) integrated real-time computer system will be available with either PowerMAX OS or Linux operating
systems. Developers will be able to satisfy their demanding real-time requirements by selecting an appropriate CPU architecture and the desired operating system.
The new Power Hawk system will allow the developer to select any number of CPUs (up to 32), either the PowerMAX OS or the Linux operating system, or a mix
of both in a single VME chassis.

Major customer request and the recent acceptance of Linux as a viable alternative to the UNIX® and Windows NT® operating systems were dominant factors in
Concurrent's decision to introduce this new operating system and offer it to its customer base. According to Dan Dunleavy, President, Concurrent Real-Time
Systems, ''Concurrent recognizes that our customers are very interested in having the flexibility of using the Linux operating system for solving their real-time needs.
Since we are in the customer solutions business, we'll offer both PowerMAX OS and Linux for applications requiring real-time performance.''

Steve Nussrallah, President and Chief Executive Officer of Concurrent, added, ''Concurrent has always maintained a commitment to its customers to stay on the
leading-edge of technology. With the addition of the Linux offering, we will continue to provide the best and broadest real-time solutions available in the
marketplace.''
