Wiser? Many would debate that. I did, however, sell 1/3 of the calls at 12, covering the costs and a small profit. Then I sold another 1/3 at 15, giving me a nice profit. I have the remaining 1/3, and I'm glad I didn't sell them yesterday. What I regret, however, is not buying even more when they went from my 3 3/8 purchase price down to 2. Oh well, shoulda, coulda, woulda. I'm taking a big hit in a couple of other stocks, so this kind of makes up for it.
But I'm not wise, just lucky. Sometimes you succeed better that way. |
