Despite all the recommendations -

Us longs have not been bashfull about pointing out the plethora of up-grades, buy recommendations, strong buys, etc. relating to cpq of late. Unfortunately, depending on which reporting service you use, institutional ownership is no-where since last May!! Sure, there have been one or two slight increases, but these have been followed by off-setting slight decreases over the last 9 months. Bottom line - institutional ownership is still around 40% - 42%, which is down big time from the 75% of two years ago! In fact, just three months ago institutional ownership had crept up (according to one reporting service) to around 50% - only to drop back. What is particularly annoying is fact that despite all the recent positive analyst comments the institutions are not agreeing and the small individual investor (who is obsessed with momentum investing for the most part) has been bailing causing this 25% haircut.

I'm beginning to wonder why I am long this stock given the huge gains realized by others elsewhere. How many of us on this thread are like me - just don't have the stomach to eat the losses and run - so instead we die a death by a thousand cuts?
