Capellas didn't put in a strong showing at the analysts party and then caved in to the ML axe. A strong CEO like Gerstner, Armstrong, or Welch would have sent that analyst back to his seat and left him staring at his shoe tops. Of course if we had one of those guys in the driver's seat, CPQ shares probably wouldn't be in the dumper. The company can't attract a CFO, DELL warns, European pc sales viewed as weak in 2k, and CPQ keeps moving everything further out. Looks like some of the DELL investors that came on board recently may be going back to DELL. Not good. El
