henry said ad revs for this quarter were $800k...if memory serves me right they were about 500k last quarter up from around 350k. now i know that 800k is not an awesome amount...however 60% and accelerating sequential quarterly growth is awesome at any amount.

unclewest,

I went back and checked my numbers. From the 10K, they had 150k of advertising revenues in FY99. I think it's fair to say this all occurred in 4Q99. According to a The Street.com article, they had $400k in 2Q00, and now they announce $800k in 3Q00. I don't have the numbers for 1Q00, but let's just say it was around $225k.

This would mean they've had sequential growth in advertising revenue of 50%, 67%, and 100% over the past three quarters.

I agree completely with you about your conclusions. It's starting from a small base, but once more epgs are deployed, and more ad space gets used, and perhaps the ad rates go up, the result will be exponential growth.
