GEM 91 is in a phase II confirmatory trial - just beginning to enroll patients (n=24) Since it is a drug for HIV and AIDS, the FDA should give it accelerated approval - once the NDA is filed; pivotal trials scheduled for 2H97, followed by NDA filing in '98. NOTE - Hybridon has two other drugs in clinical trials - targeting systemic CMV (cytomegaloviru) and CMV retinitis. These too could get on fast track, since CMV retinitis blinds about 40 % of late stage AIDS patients. check out hybn web page - www.hybridon.com for further updates
