I'm not surprised that you think everybody else is irrational because they don't think like you. I've met a lot of people like you in the last five years who think they are the standard.


I don't think they are irrational because they don't think like me. I didn't even say they were irrational for buying on a split, which has empiracally been shown to be a net positive strategy. I just argued the "rationale" you presented for the reason was in fact irrational.

2+2=4. That is an application of the assumed rules of arithmatic. I also believe it to be true. When I say to someone 2+2 does not equal 5, I am not saying they are wrong because they don't agree with me. I am saying that the laws of arithmatic say they are wrong.

Now, we can have fun philosophical debates about the validity of the assumptions of arithmatic, given that it has been proven to be an incomplete system, but that's a much different debate :)

I'm still worried about InterTrust's valuation relative to other DRM players. Not long yet, but keeping up to speed.
