I have learned the same lesson as you. Buy when you feel like puking, and everyone else is saying sell. Of course it only seems to work reliably when the stocks are already incredibly undervalued before the drop, and most of the market hasn't realized the fundamentals have dramatically changed.

Quite an interesting battle happening with HRC at $5. Two institutions are slugging it out. Looks like the buyer has much deeper pockets. Not sure why any fund would be selling at 5. Perhaps a hedge fund trying to short HRC into unmarginable status? They could lose big if they fail.
