I'm biased because I've earned the right to be as a Scientist. As I keep trying to drill through Dan's thick head, there are very specific procedures one must follow to conclusively prove something scientifically. GUMM has followed NONE of them. Therefore, I have no choice but to conclude that their claims are false. I would treat any other scientific claim the same way that failed to back itself up with the appropriate proof. That's the way I expect to be treated by my peers when I make conclusions regarding my research and, in return, scrutinize all others the same way. If you find fault with what I have to say, then you find fault with the scientific method itself. What I find really telling is the fact that both SM and myself actually gave Zicam the benefit of the doubt and tried it. Only in my case, I was immediately dismissed as a liar and a charlatan when I announced that it did not work for me. However, I'm sure my experience would have been readily accepted had I concluded the opposite. That, to me, says who's really close minded here.
