The press release that was posted was one year old. Look at the date, it's Feb 8th, 1999.

This project from Wireless Knowledge was very exciting last year. Nothing at all has emerged. In fact, GMGC made suggestions that it wasn't going as expected. Look up an old one on Qwest. That was also pretty exciting, and so was Intuit for that matter. Finding anything on these projects today though will be hard.

I don't say this as a put down, but it seems that you've got to did a little deeper into the GMGC story. I see the price pulling back from recent highs. I hope this is typical backing and filling, but really we are trading up on great hopes. There is not really much solid stuff to gauge GMGC's ability to make money as yet.

It will be interesting if they quantify the value of an OnStar user, but I doubt they will. It would be interesting if they break out revenues from advertising both directly from MyTalk and from Excite, but again I doubt they will. Finally, their flagship product Portico has the potential to generate revenues, but last quarter was very disappointing for Portico. Any growth there would be great. Please, I hope they don't just publish a jaw dropping tiny revenue number with no explanation.

Yes, GMGC is trading up on some expectation. At some point, people will want to see a result. This $9 offer seems to be quite a nusance. I wonder why they respond at all? Before it was positive, now???

I'm looking at another company, Notify, doing market trials with Telco's, including Bell South. It's a slow process, but Notify indicates going from market trial to product roll out should be about 4 to 6 months. News from Bell South will be much appreciated. Portico has always been the meat and potatoes platform from which GMGC had hoped to launch other services. It still irks me that they've had so little success here, especially now that I've seen how many companies Wildfire has been able to get.

Anyway, hope the price can hold at or above $10. This is a price where many people are just starting to get back to even. A little concern and I'd think they'd pull their money out and be happy. To me the value play here is that some company will either by GMGC, or agree to merge their product into a WAP solution.

Regards,

Mark
