Splash Technology Signs David Emmettas Senior Vice President of Engineering

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 2000--Splash Technology Holdings, Inc. ("Splash" or the "Company")SPLH , a leading international supplier of color servers that transform printing engines into powerful networked printers, today announced that David Emmett has joined the Company as senior vice president of engineering.

Emmett most recently was senior vice president of engineering and technical operations at Peerless Systems. Prior to Peerless, Emmett held several senior positions at Adobe Systems during his four years there, the last of which was vice president of engineering for the printing and systems division. Prior to Adobe, Emmett held senior engineering management positions at PixelCraft, Calera Recognition Systems, Synergy Computer Graphics, and Schlumberger Graphics. He brings more than 20 years of engineering experience in graphics, printing, and imaging. He studied physics and pure mathematics at Exeter University in England and obtained an MBA from Pepperdine University in California.
