Or perhaps some gentle soul trying to inject some humor into what is probably a deadly dull job. I'll never forget the gal at the S.F Chron. who got fired for doing a layout having to do with children, which was composed of those little blocks that have letters on each side. They spelled out "Be A Lesbian." Aparently most people have no sense of humor.
