I don't recall what I posted to SI while I owned MSFT. If you're really that keen to know, you can go back and check. I bought on 6/30 and sold on 7/14.

I don't agree with your "Lone Stranger" characterization of Sun. There's a large community of VARs, vendors, developers, customers, academics, etc. around Sun. Do you think IBM is a "Lone Stranger" because they're the only ones (I know of) supporting RS6000? Is Compaq a "Lone Stranger" w.r.t. Alpha? BTW, you do know that Sun sells a board that goes in its workstations that will run Windows, don't you? And in some ways that's a better way to run Windows than a dedicated PC.

But you're right -- there's more than one way to skin a cat.
