One of CNBS's bubble babes made the argument today that OPEC would not want to see the price of oil exceed 30/bbl because this would cause the US to release some of its strategic reserves thus driving the price down. Am I just being dense, or is this argument totally vacuous? How long could our reserves drive oil prices lower? What then? regards homer
