My LED flashlight arrived today. I got one of these - cgi.ebay.com According to his website, it uses Nichia LEDs. What surprised me a little is that the bulb appears to be hand built from 2 LEDs soldered into a standard base from a flashlight bulb. No wonder these bulbs are expensive if they're hand assembled! Mass production ought to do wonders for the pricing.
