abbigail -
I have a big DELL position - about 25% of my portfolio - and I can tell you that the only kickin' being done by DELL at the moment is MSD kicking the shareholders butts.

DELL has had virtually flat earnings for 2 quarters now - "just 2 1-time events" - except in the CC they said next Q will ALSO be flat - this from a company that had said in early 1999 that they would grow earnings in the mid-40s.

What does it say about DELL going forward when they grow revenue by 31% and earnings by 3%??? Where would revenues have to be to achieve their new lowered goal of 30% earnings growth? and given that they just said 1Q earnings will also be flat, they only have 3 quarters to accomplish that, not 4...

Do you hold any DELL? Are you happy with the performance? I'm not - I think the show is over and plan on reducing my holdings by at least 60% as soon as there is even the slightest pop...
