You are quite right. I also first heard about them at the 1995 San Francisco gold show. At that time I was favorable impressed by the story as Frank Lang told it to me. Unlike most exploration companies they had a property where there was known to be gold. I was kicking myself for not buying it when I saw it go from $1 to $7. I think it got some help from another Lang company Valerie resources which went from around $3 to $28 around the same time. I got to hear their story again at the 1999 SF gold show. It is essential unchanged except they are now talking about some small high grade zones that they can mine very profitable initially to kick start things.
