More and more people are posting their under-$2 specials and then noting spectacular % gains later. Just for the record, I avoid 99% of those plays like the plague because they are a recipe for losing money much of the time. I would never buy a Canadian mining firm, period. Penny stock plays really fit better on Joe Copia's thread. The regulars here are not penny stock players. That said, I put a few dimes in VMAX recently on someone else's recommendation. But I don't make any claims that it is a decent or viable play. I plan to dump it if it doubles. Our main focus in undervalued or momentum listed stocks with potential to appreciate dramatically in the near future. Several people here are up 25-50% for the year without playing pennies.
