Just to add my experience, I've also noticed that there are less stocks available to short in the few months since I opened my account in November. I am also one of those traders who mostly trade from the short side, and I've been disappointed by the slimmer offerings lately. If CyberCorp feels it must offer less shortable stocks in order to manage their risk, that is their right, but I have to honestly state that it is making me a less-satisfied customer than I was a few months ago.
