Mark...

Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts so thoroughly.

My guess for the reason that people are focusing so much on the Onstar alliance goes back to the last conference call... where Dr. Markman stated that GMGC would be focusing all their attention and effort on executing the Onstar deal. He didn't talk about how hard they would be pushing Portico. The press releases of late mention the Magictalk platform and the Mytalk service; in fact Young and Rubicam were hired expressley as agents of record for the Mytalk advertising campaign.

Check the press releases going back to Dec. 8th... Portico isn't even mentioned, yet in every release the magictalk platform and/or the mytalk service are. "Flagship" be damned, you can call the service whatever you want, the money is going to be in the licensing of the magictalk platform and the customized service provided off that platform...whatever that may be... and the use of the mobile agent technology, whatever that may be.

I see this as a make or break partnership, and if GMGC doesn't take advantage of this shot, or if the service flops, the company as we know it is probably finished. Yes, they still have the technology and somebody else would probably buy it and put the pieces back together, but the stock price would probably be ruined.

That's my guess, based really on a simple common sense approach to the business model as it stands today. I'm probably way off base, but so far my intuition has served me pretty well so I'm gonna stick with it. Like Greg said...whatever works is the right call.

FWIW I'm going to give your last post a contrarian indicator of 13%... that means we should be good for a 13% rise here in price. Coupled with the 20%er Batman release <g>,that gives us a 33% price appreciation off this recent( and totally expected)normal pullback. <gggg> Who knows what Tom Dorsey will do besides...

Keep the great thoughts flowing, it's good for everyone.

Best Regards,

John
