Wow,...go away for half a day, and I wake up to 200 new posts on the porch.

1st, let me say I think the porch is a great idea. A place where friends can meet to discuss both business and pleasure, and for that matter, anything else that comes to mind. I also would like to say that I like all the personal chatter...the stories and etc. Most threads will chastise you if you aren't on topic all the time. However, sometimes ya end up pinched for time and unfortunatley don't have time to waste on recreation, but you still want to here the opinions and TA that deal with our favorite stocks.

When you miss a day or two on a thread like this, you have hundreds of posts to wade thru. SI allows you to browse 40 at a time, but you only get the first line which doesn't really tell you if you should read the post. Bookmarking individuals is a pain, as SI only allows you to view one at a time, with no way of going back/forth on that individual person without going back to their page. Very time consuming.

Anyway, I certainly enjoy and want the personal chatter to continue...is there anything else we can do so that folks can quickly scan thru at times when time is of the essence?? I was thinking maybe if everybody ( most people anyway) Starts each post simply with the symbol of the stock they are talking about it would be easy to scan. If you arent talking about any stock, then simply don't do it. When scanning, if you are in a hurry, you would be able to simply blow by the personal chatter, and read only the posts that concern stocks you are interested in.

Is this too much of a pain in the A$$ ??? The reason this comes to mind is I find myself very busy lately and will be for awhile. I just havent had the time to keep up with things on the porch, and frankly, I miss it. Every time I come in, there are a zillionj posts to go thru, and I just dont have the time. Yet, I am very interested in hearing what has transpired with our favorite stocks, strategies folks are using and etc, etc....

Anyway.....just a thought. Does anybody else have this problem, or have any idea's for me.

Have a great day

Keith
