PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 11, 2000--Applied Digital
Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSX) today reported preliminary revenue
results for its core business group for the year ended December 31,
1999.
Preliminary results showed revenues for the core business group
at over $171 million for the twelve month period ended December 31,
1999, up from $118.1 million for the twelve month period ended
December 31, 1998, an increase of more than 44%. Final results for the
year ended December 31, 1999 for the core business group as well as
consolidated results for Applied Digital Solutions are expected to be

Richard J. Sullivan, Chairman and CEO of Applied Digital
Solutions, commented on the preliminary results, saying, "We are
encouraged by the significant growth experienced by our core group in
the same year that we successfully divested four companies in our
non-core communications infrastructure group and TigerTel, our
Canadian telecommunications company." Applied Digital's core business
group now consists of the telecommunications, network infrastructure,
Internet and application technology divisions. Mr. Sullivan added,
"Going forward, we will continue to strengthen our position as an
e-business solutions provider by further developing the
cross-marketing opportunities amongst the core business companies and
through strategic acquisitions. This will allow Applied Digital to
provide complete front-to-back e-business solutions that the market
demands."
