Steve,

Despite your recent posts, you really haven't changed. You have stated your interest in Sun is to short it. Accordingly, you focus on any bit of data you can find to bash Sun, while missing the larger picture. The real story with Dell's latest earnings is that even though its revenue growth is still over 30% it could only generate earnings of one more cent a share from 4Q 1998. It will be interesting to see how much of Dell's 4Q 1999 earnings are attributable to sales of investments in other companies. Dell has been in a slide from its all time high for over a year, and Sun each day is hitting new highs because Sun's revenue and profit growth have been outstanding. Dell's new focus on server and storage sales simply reinforces the wisdom of owning Sun.
