The motivation of being here is to learn about SUNW. My own understandings of the technology & customers involved tells me that the stock is overvalued. However, if you guys can be optimistic, then so can analysts and fund managers. Clearly the stock action tells me it is not time to short just yet. My calls on the price of SUNW have not been wrong since I landed here a few weeks ago. When I do go short, I will let you know and you should take heed. I don't think that time is too far off. Maybe a quarter, maybe less.

Some of you (but not you Charles<g>) have also provided me with new angles and links to info I might not otherwise have found. I am putting forward the bearish view here to provoke some opposing views. That is safer than blindly shorting. Just as it would serve you to keep an open mind on the possibility of Sun's margins going downhill due to serious competition from a MASSIVE array of very large competitors.

If Sun's technology were enough to protect its business, why does Sun management find the need to lodge complaints with DOJ & EU? Management are a lot more worried than you are.
