On hackers You know awhile back we had extensive discussions here about using Novell directory technology to create digital identity vaults. The notion being that you had a biometric device that you used to generate your user id, and a digitalme identity vault in which to store your digital identity. The idea was to deny hackers the ability to pose as you. It sounds like the attackers in this denial of service approach had to have some way of compromising the servers they used to host the attack. Did they simply crack a user ID or did they invade the packets that circulate on the net directly? Can someone elaborate.
