Maxine - Thanks for your continuing posts and your testimonial that the product is well accepted in CA. Your affirmation of product acceptance seems consistent with others who are using the product. While Isolyser has achieved net operating income from its non-Orex product sales, operating losses-to-date on Orex have been greater than non-Orex profit contributions. I'm betting that management changes in 1997 will solve gross profit margins on OREX that, to date, have been negative (cost of manufacturing/goods sold has been greater than related sales revenue for the product). Through 12/96, the bottom line (from the 10K) is that Isolyser, for a variety of reasons, has not been able to produce Orex products, in sufficient, consistent quality volumes, to realize costs less than related sales pricing; thus no gross profit on OREX product sales to cover related selling, general and admin expenses much less an operating profit contribution. Thanks again and we look forward to future posts from you and others who have first-hand perspectives from using Orex-degradables.
