DELGRATIA REPORTS RESULTS OF DRILL HOLE 6 AT NEVADA PROJECT

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 28, 1997-- Delgratia Mining
Cor(NASDAQ:DELGF.) Delgratia Mining Corporation has received encouraging assay results from Drill Hole 6
at the Nevada Project located 40 miles south of Las Vegas.

Drill Hole 6 was the first of four holes drilled along the new fence (BB'), parallel and 7,000 feet to the north of Drill
Hole 3 on the first fence (AA'). (The first five holes on AA' have been previously reported April 10, 1997 in news
release No. 97/05). The samples were prepared under the direction of and assayed by the Project's Chief
Assayer, Mr. Dave Camacho (28 years experience) with splits checked by registered assayers at Jacob's Lab in
Tucson, Arizona. Assay results are reported below for Drill Hole 6 with a listing of results in the Appendix.

1160 - 1240 Intrusives 0.004 0.13

The top 640' of Drill Hole 6 consists principally of coarse sedimentary layers of intrusive origin similar to material
intersected in Drill Holes 3 and 4 on Fence AA'. The underlying andesitic coarse sediments, andesites and
intrusives are each essentially barren. The exact nature and extent of the gold mineralization on the Nevada Project
is just starting to be understood. This gold system has some features that are different from other known Nevada
deposits and thus our geologic model is still evolving. It will require many more drill holes together with
mineralogical and metallurgical testing before its geologic significance can be reasonably understood.

A second reverse circulation drill rig arrived at the property and is expected to commence drilling this week. The
new rig will be probing to depths of 2,000 feet. This will allow for deeper penetration of the underlying intrusive
rocks to determine their nature and relationship to the gold mineralization at depth. The current 75,000 foot
exploration program will also be accelerated and the Company will be able to proceed with in-fill drilling between
the AA' and BB' fences more rapidly. The Company will continue to have assays verified by registered and/or
certified assayers based in the U.S. and/or Canada. The Company's consulting engineers are continuing their
review of drilling procedures, sample collecting and assaying procedures. Further work will include mineralogical
and metallurgical testing. Results will be reported when available.

"The arrival of a second drill rig on site will allow us to probe deeper and to speed the development of the gold
project" says Dr. Ager. ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Dr. Charles A. Ager, PEng, PGeo Chairman and President and Chairman
