PB,

Re:"lack of high end supply from Intel"

AMD has stated that the 900MHZ chips will release SHORTLY after the 850's. (jerry's own words).

That means within 45 days.

THIS WILL BE A VOLUME LAUNCH AS WELL.

Now Intel still hasn't caught up with 800Mhz demand as of today. Perhaps they finally will get 800Mhz parts into the channell shortly by early next month.

Now do you suppose that Intel will do another VAPOR launch of 850-900Mhz speed grade parts in March.

If they do folks like DELL are gonna be pissed IMHO.

IMHO if intel does a traditional launch of 850-900Mhz parts - ie when high volumes of parts are in hand - we will be looking at April launch of 850-900's. By which time AMD will be prepping the 1Ghz launch.

Seems like Intel is in a real performance SQUEEZE.

regards,

Kash
