JDN - I wasn't even aware that Costco was discontinuing the Discover card, but I share your irritation; in fact, the only reason I got a Discover card was because it was the only card they accepted. I have no desire to add an Amex card to my wallet. Though I suppose I'll have to - I spend and average of $200 a week at Costco so there's really little choice. And it'll presumably cost me money - I get a 2% rebate on my Discover card.
