GMGC is not re-inventing wheel using magictalk. portico is built on magictalk and yes GM will use magictalk but the kicker here is that they will use portico. Look at magic's monthly fees for portico, even if GM gets some discount for offering portico on such a huge scal, we would see on an average about $15(pessimistic) or $25(Optimistic) per subscriber per month based on usage. Isn't this ISPs like AOL get paid for their service? Take that number and multiply by 1 mil subscribers in just first year through GM only and then possibly Toyota, honda, GM europe... You get the bigger picture. Most folks don't realize that GMGC sold portico to GM. Who wants telco now?
