Alexander, there are several books out of the "unauthorized" biography of JFK, which I do not give much credence to because of the fact that they are unauthorized. There was one bio on A&E which is known for it's accuracy in the biography field. As far as the mafia connection goes, that has been reported in several ways by several people who were involved. Old man Joe had Frank Sinatra use his connections with Chicago "family". FS was told to promise them that Jack would lay off organized crime if they would sway the vote for the ticket in Illinois, then, when Bobbie took out after the "family" there was a lot of pressure put on Frank, and his connection by the big boys. This is well known, and I don't care if your hubbie knew Jack or not, it is the truth. Actually, Jack was a reprobate. How do you think he got the moniker of Jack the zipper? I am sure that is something he would not tell his friends. ~H~
