Cree's LED's a hazard? They are cool to the touch, are durable when they break they do not explode ...and as to children...they do not drive, use cell phones, look at traffic lights, outdoor displays...and when the replace the incand. bulb, they will have reflectors to diffuse light. Seriously, they are safer than incand.
