Agreed that if you DCA for 34 years on the SP500 index you will get decent returns. Data and marker history are on your side.

But it is a dull and boring game and does not require much creativity nor do you come out learning more on market and human behavior. MB's contrarian tactics and reasoning are interesting and seem to have benefited him well. AND clearly he seems to be enjoying doing it.

I myself enjoy when one of my calls come true. To each man whatever style that suits him. In the end as long one is honest to himself and make money and also enjoy doing it that is what matters.

From your posts I sense that you are not enjoying your DCA technique or you do not believe that somebody like MB could time the market quite well to make great returns.
