I have sold puts on companies like LU, CSCO, MSFT, CPQ,
Tommy Hilfger (sp?) Office Depot, Dell, COMS
Kmart, plus others.
I am a pretty conservative trader, and I look for around a
5-10% return on each play that I do.
This is my first month at selling the more aggressive stocks like JDSU, SFA, NOK,SNDK,QCOM,EXDS and a couple others. HOwever I sold futher out of the money than most people here tend to do, so I do not make as much, but I sleep very well at night.
I have closed out about half and feel comfortable with the remainders. If we have a big correction i will either roll them out a month or have them put to me. Then I will sell covered calls until I am called out.
