Its Link system, which consists of master control units, base stations, and wireless phones, offers mobile communications within hospitals, offices, manufacturing facilities, and other workplaces. SpectraLink's NetLink system provides wireless voice and data communications over company LANs. Customers include building materials giant Lowe's (which accounts for 17% of sales), AT&T, and General Motors. The company, which has installed more than 4,200 systems, sells directly and through distributors and dealers. Director Burton McMurtry owns more than 20% of SpectraLink.
