Just to help out you E-Groupies, I tried opening an EGRP account last week with the minimum $2k...what's a little money amongst the ones you adore?
Problem is, it's been over 5 days since EGRP has gotten my check (sent it overnight) and still no life of the account - they promised 72 hours at the latest. Basically, the only things EGRP gave me was a username and a password, but I still can't get into any of the favorite E-Groupie areas without the account being fully set up - which can't be all that hard to do...
Of course, I'm banking on the free $75 dollars and IPO perks...the Onvia and Eloquent ones looks okay...have all the key words like .com, e-market, b2b, and such...not to mention good underwriters like CSFB, BBRS, USBC, etc. However, thanks to EGRP's terrible customer service, I'll probably miss the ELOQ 2 hour window next Monday...
If EGRP can get me at least 500 shares at $12-$13 of ONVI, I may pony up more cash for the ride...
So far, EGRP's service has been slow and incompetent... |
