It's great to see Compaq getting into the PC/TV arena. Too bad the product wasnt't better conceived, as you mentioned, with DVD and digital satellite TV capabilities. Also, too bad CUBE isn't Compaq's partner.

I wonder if Compaq made a mistake in teaming with Thomson. On the surface, it seems like a good marriage because Thomson offers monitors/TVs, DVD players, and satellite receivers. However, Compaq did not take advantage of these advantages in its introduced product. Underneath, it also means that Compaq may be stuck with Thomson components in its PC/TV, even if other manufacturers come out with better or cheaper solutions.
