There's a company called Medtronic that markets an implantable, programmable delivery device (pump) for intrathecal administration of CNS actives. I found a reference that describes the experimental use of conopeptides for mitigating neuropathic pain.

But these conotoxins are undeveloped as clinical meds. There are alternatives - opiates (morphine), GABA agents (baclofen, gabapentin) and others (clonidine). If I had chronic neuropathic pain, I'd consider these.
