i don't quite understand your point.
you have your account, yes or no? who cares if it's the same password as 3 years ago??? that's your account, take it or leave it.
delays in account processing may stem from big/small errors in your account application or missing information, or funding problems, maybe the delay is caused by the bank/whatever where you are transferring the money FROM (nobody wants to see money leave).
i opened my etrade account in 1997, i don't live in the US (had to fill much more paperwork than US residents do), i made a very complicated international transfer of AAPL shares from Switzerland, everything went like a charm.
in 1997.
in a few days, everything was on my ETrade account.
all those problems you have are really strange, all we hear from you in this thread are always complaints, complaints and complaints, your computer doesn't work and crashes, your wife cheats on you, maybe ETrade should pay so you get 48 mbs more of RAM too?
