Steve, <Based on the difference in cost and performance, I honestly don't know why anyone buys a PIII.> To be honest, I'm also wondering about the huge price difference between Athlon and Pentium III. I feel Pentium III is just as good as Athlon (a few percentage points is no big deal). However, the low, low price of Athlons makes me wonder why there isn't a shortage of them. Ever wonder why Jerry Sanders said nothing about "higher-than-expected" demand for Athlon? It kind of makes the silly MHz wars pointless, since the sweet spot is still somewhere between 500 to 600 MHz. Tenchusatsu
