Howard, all:

I think I'm potentially getting myself into a lot of trouble by getting the Asus/Matrox combination.

Any other high end system suggestions. I was thinking about the Asus K7M with an Athlon 700/750. Even though the K7M has only 5 PCI slots, because the DMA66 i/f takes up the real estate of one slot, it has a built-in sound card to compensate.

Any thoughts?
